We offer a large variety of dental services, designed to serve you throughout your life. These include, but are not limited to:
Professional Teeth Cleaning:
The main reason of having your teeth cleaned professionally is to prevent or delay the progression of gum diseases.Even if you clean your teeth regularly and diligently there are germs and deposits which cannot be removed by normal cleaning habits. When a dentist cleans your teeth they remove soft and hard deposits from your teeth, these generates cavities and periodontal disease. The frequency of a professional teeth cleaning depends on the health of your teeth and gums. For example, healthy children and adults should have their teeth cleaned at least once a year. If you have a tendency to get gum infections or if you are a smoker, you should visit your dentist more often.
Dental Crowns:
Dental crowns, also known as caps, are used to replace the tooth structure to give back the original strength of the natural tooth, lost for many reasons, such as cavities, fractures or old fillings. They can be made of porcelain and metal, or just porcelain. A crown covers a tooth and matches the shape, size and color of the surrounding teeth. Dental crowns are indicated for cracked teeth and teeth with deep cavities. Right now, we are offering the latest in dental all ceramic crowns by Ceramill Zi, which gives the most vital and lifelike appearance of any crown fabricated today.
Porcelain Veneers:
Porcelain Veneers are used to improve the aesthetics, color, miss aligned, chipped, short or narrow teeth. Made of the finest porcelain, it is a two session treatment that will improve your look with a minimal tooth lost. This is the primary treatment modality for the popular extreme makeovers. Not all the cases can be restored by this method. You need to fulfill some requirements to be a veneer candidate.
Dental Bridges:
A bridge stabilizes the bite of a patient who lost one or more teeth. Dental bridges prevent the surrounding teeth from moving or shifting in the mouth. A lost tooth that has not been replaced may cause surrounding teeth to become unstable and lead to a removal, make the teeth harder to clean, compromising oral health or change the shape of a face and diminish the beauty of a smile. A dental bridge is made up of two dental crowns for the teeth on either side of the gap and a false (or more) tooth in between. Natural teeth, dental implants, or a combination of natural teeth and dental implants can be used to support the bridge. Unlike partial dentures, bridges are permanent; patients can not remove them.
Gum Treatment:
The main cause of periodontal disease is bacteria in the form of a sticky, colorless plaque that constantly forms on your teeth; however, many other factors can cause periodontal (gum) disease or influence its progression. Treatment methods depend upon the type of disease and how far the condition has progressed. Good oral hygiene at home is essential to help keep periodontal disease from becoming more serious or recurring. You don t have to lose teeth due to periodontal disease. Brushes, cleaning between your teeth, eating a balanced diet and scheduling regular dental visits can help you maintain a lifetime healthy smile.
Removable Dentures:
A procedure made to replace some or all of your lost teeth to bring back the function of your mouth and the general appearance of your face. (This treatment can be mixed with dental implants to improve the retention of the denture.
Resin Fillings:
These are non metallic fillings to restore teeth with cavities. Resin fillings need conservative drilling, reaching the highest expectations of an aesthetic restoration. These materials work as well or better than conventional silver amalgam fillings. Composites strengthen the teeth while amalgams weak them. It is easy to see why composites are the best choice for most dental restorations.
Teeth Whitening (Complete in 1 Appointment):
A whiter and brighter smile is beautiful, it can help you feel better about yourself and make a memorable impression. Many things we do on regular basis can contribute to stained teeth, such as drinking coffee, tea, cola and red wine or smoking.
With our ZOOM whitening system the patient may expect about 6-8 shade shifts. Just three fifteen minutes sessions are needed for a total treatment time of 1 hour. A previous teeth cleaning is necessary.
Surgery and implants:
A dental implant is an artificial tooth root replacement and is used to support restorations that resemble a tooth or group of teeth. There are several types of dental implants. Nowadays the most accepted and successful implant is the osseointegrated implant. Although you have a number of restorative options for the treatment of missing teeth, none have proven to be as functionally effective and durable as implants. An implant can:Replace one or more teeth without affecting bordering teeth. Support a bridge and eliminate the need for a removable partial denture. Provide support for a denture, making it more secure and comfortable.
Endodontic Treatment (Root canal):
A root canal is a treatment used to repair and save a tooth that is badly decayed or becomes infected. During a root canal procedure, the nerve and pulp are removed and the inside of the tooth is cleaned and sealed. The pulp nerves, arterioles and venules as well as lymphatic tissue and fibrous tissue) can become diseased or injured, and is often unable to repair itself; if it dies, endodontic treatment is required without treatment, the tissue surrounding the tooth will become infected and abscesses may form.
Dental Braces:
Dental braces (also known as orthodontic braces) are used in orthodontics to align teeth and their position with regard to a person's bite. They are often used to correct malocclusions such as under bites, overbites, cross bites and open bites, or crooked teeth and various other flaws of teeth and jaws, whether cosmetic or structural. Orthodontic braces are often used in conjunction with other orthodontic appliances to widen the palate or jaws or otherwise shape the teeth and jaws. They are mainly used on children and teenagers; but adults can also benefit from it.
